This piece is solid sterling silver with a 14kt gold overlay. The coin is made from the silver bars recovered from the Atocha and comes with a certificate stating that. I also handset the crab with white topaz. I only use the highest quality stones which make it shimmer like diamond! It has a beautiful shine when the sun hits it just right.
