Atocha coin pendant limited edition octopus mermaid diver silver coin and chain

This item is part of my limited edition collection, in which I try to tell a story with each piece. This piece took about 7 months to complete, as making the mould was the most complicated part. I use many different finishes to give that "WOW" effect. The entire frame is solid sterling silver. The octopus has a beautiful black rhodium finish, notice the detail on the tentacles as it wraps itself around the mermaid. The mermaid has a 14kt gold plated finish and a high polished sterling silver finish. The diver is solid sterling silver with a 14kt gold overlay. Also notice the "wave" above the octopus which has a sterling silver sandblast finish. The coin in the background is made from the silver bars recovered from the Atocha and comes with a certificate stating that.
