This is a super cute piece, the frame around the coin is solid 14kt real gold. This is a small and delicate piece, very beautiful and has a high polish finish. The coin itself is casted from the silver bars recovered from the Atocha and comes with a certificate stating. This is a great value as I am using the old market price of gold. A great piece of history.
